PINK hair

The children had a goal in Children’s Church to bring in $100 in offering money buy Sept. 5th. If they did this, I told them I would color my hair pink. (What was I thinking!) Well, one of our elder’s children, not to mention any names… brought in a $100 bill the next week. Wow! So, I will have pink hair on Sept. 5th. The children brainstormed ways to use their tithe money and voted. The idea that received the most support and the destination of our tithe money is Project Pet, a cat and dog no kill shelter. Tell your kids how proud of them you are for working hard on a goal and for serving God with their tithe!

By the way, didn’t plan the date of the pink hair very well, it is 3 days before the first day of Mom’s Morning Out starts.

new classes

Here’s the breakdown of the new classes starting September 5th. The kiddos will be in the same classes for both Sunday School and 2nd hour. No more transitions between classes!

• Room 101 — Seedlings – birth to steady walking
• Room 102 – Sprouts – steady walking – 2 year olds
• Room 103 – Saplings – 3’s
• Room 104 – The Big Backyard – 4’s – Kindergarten
• Room 105 – The Clubhouse – 1st – 5th grade

Children up until school age will move on the week following their birthday. All other children K-5th move with the school year.
